Model United Nations · Rheingau
Three days of debate, negotiation and diplomacy at EBS Universität für Recht und Wirtschaft — student-led, and open to delegates from anywhere.
About the conference
In a world shaped by conflict, crisis and political transformation, the ability to lead, negotiate and think globally has never mattered more. EBS MUN is a student-led Model United Nations conference that brings together ambitious, internationally minded students to debate global challenges, develop leadership skills and experience diplomacy in practice.
Over three days, delegates represent a country or an actor in committee, argue its position, build coalitions across the room and negotiate a resolution that can actually pass. The gap between holding an opinion and getting forty people to agree on a text is where the learning happens.
The conference is organised entirely by students of EBS Universität für Recht und Wirtschaft in Oestrich-Winkel, in the Rheingau.
Who it is for
No prior Model UN experience is required for delegates. Everything you need — rules of procedure, study guides and a position paper template — is published before the conference.
Committees
Each edition of EBS MUN is built around a major contemporary global issue, explored across the three days from different perspectives — from economics and security to human rights and international governance. Committees and topics for 2027 are announced with the delegate handbook.

Partners & sponsors
Our conference is a platform to engage with ambitious young talent, share real-world perspectives, and help shape tomorrow's leaders.
EBS MUN puts your organisation in front of a self-selected group of students who chose to spend a weekend arguing about international policy. Partners join us on site during the conference, speak at the opening or closing ceremony, and take part in the networking programme between committee sessions.
We are happy to put together something that fits what you actually want out of it — recruiting, visibility, or a session of your own.
A stand in the networking area, materials in the delegate pack, and your team in the room.
A keynote at the opening or closing ceremony, or a workshop between sessions.
Named support for a committee, the social event, or delegate scholarships.
Confirmed partners
Partner logos appear here, in the delegate handbook and on conference signage.
Questions
No. A good share of delegates at any conference are attending their first. You will get the rules of procedure, a study guide for your committee and a position paper template well before April, and the chairs run the room in a way that works for beginners. If you have done this before, the crisis committee is where you want to be.
University students and upper-secondary students from anywhere. You can apply as an individual delegate or as part of a delegation from your school or university.
The delegate fee for 2027 is being finalised and will be published with the application. It covers meals during the conference and the social event. Travel and accommodation are not included.
Accommodation is arranged individually. We will publish a list of options in Oestrich-Winkel and the surrounding Rheingau, along with the group rates we are able to negotiate, when registration opens.
The campus is at Rheingaustraße 1, 65375 Oestrich-Winkel, about 45 minutes by train from Frankfurt Airport via Wiesbaden. Detailed travel directions go out with the delegate handbook.
English, in every committee and in all conference documents.
Yes. We recruit chairs separately from delegates, and previous MUN experience matters here. Write to us and we will send you the chair application when it opens.
